The Happiest Place on Earth...

A couple weeks ago my mom took all the girls on a trip to DISNEYLAND! It was so much fun. We spent two days at disneyland and the day we left to come home we went to the beach! I must say I think my favorite part of the trip was the beach just because that was my third time at disneyland and I have never spent time at the beach. The whole trip was a blast: no waiting in lines, warm weather, and one very patient baby.

New Year

Happy New Year! Wow this year has been so good to me, and as I am sitting here pondering all of the happenings this year I can't help but feel so grateful for all of the blessings in my life!

Some of my favorite moments of this year:

• I got engaged on January 10, 2011! What a great way to start off last year!
• Nathan and I bought our first home in February (Stressful but so worth it!) 
• I was married to the love of my life on April 8, 2011
• Honeymoon! in Jackson Hole Wyoming
• I got a nephew (my first!) in May
• Nathans Birthday! May 22
• I went to Ensenada Mexico on a girls Cruise in May.. So much fun!
• July 4 Nathan Surprised me with my puppy Cozy!
•  August 18 My Birthday!
• September 14, Graduated from Medical Assisting School
• Also started working for The Elko Clinic to finish my externship for school in September
• Nathan bought me a new car (what a sweetie)
• Nathan also sold his truck and bought a new one
• Christmas! We both got so spoiled!
• New Years day I found out I am going to be an aunt again! My sister-in-law Makelle is expecting a baby in July and I am so excited for her!

NFR, Vegas, and... Elko.

Well here we are... I wish I had more to blog about but honestly my life is really boring! (reeally!) Nathan and I have just been travelling to Elko for work each week and sometimes when I get a little nutty from being in a trailer all week I stay home, and thankfully my sister Lacie is there to bring me back to sanity! We had lots of fun shopping in Salt Lake for my Vegas trip and we also took my little sister to the Aquarium in Sandy for her Birthday! #13 Holy Cow! She is a teenager now!

The NFR is probably one of my favorite times of the year because, well of course the Rodeo, all the shopping, And Nathan ends up buying me a great gift while we are there! But not only do I love it because all of the fun things we end up coming home with but it was a much needed vacation for the both of us!

Update!

Wow time flies when your having fun! I can't believe it's already October! Nathan and I have been busy working on remodeling our house it's slowly coming along. I really wish I would have taken before and after pictures because it was ugly and really really dirty when we moved in! I finished MA school and so I am going out to Elko with Nathan and we come home on the weekends. Hopefully Nathan gets a job closer to home soon so that we can be home more and see our families more,  but we are having fun for right now! In May I went on a cruise with my grandma, aunt Susann, cousins Allie and Samantha and my sister Lacie it was so much fun! I loved going with just the girls but I think we were all missing our boys by the end of the trip. When Nate and I were on our honey moon we saw the cutest dog that belonged to the owners of the cabin we stayed in, the dog was a havanese breed we started looking on the internet for the a havanese puppy but they are very rare and we couldn't find them in Utah. On July 4th Nathan surprised me with a havanese puppy that he had brought from California! I was so excited! She is so cute and playful!

Easter!

I have been on spring break for the past couple of weeks and it has been really nice because I have been spending a lot of time in Elko with Nathan. We were in Elko Easter weekend because Nathan had to work all weekend so we celebrated easter in the trailer! So much fun!

Happily Ever After

Our story... Nathan and I met on a blind date in September 2009. I was a senior in high school and he was just working. We went to a movie with my older sister, brother-in law and brother... Let's just say awkward! Not to mention I was super shy but by the end of the night I new I wanted to know this boy a lot better. After the weekend I went back home and we texted but I didn't really think much of it because I lived so far away, by the end of the week we had made it "official", and Nate picked me up for date #2 in cedar city for a rodeo. Things moved pretty quickly after that. We saw each other every weekend and after a couple weeks of dating Nathan went to work in Elko NV. for Brahma. He came home on the weekends and things were really good we talked about getting married a lot but we waited for a year and a half. Finally in January 2011 Nathan proposed and it was perfect. everything started going into place. Nathan and I had looked at houses for months before we got engaged and had no luck about two weeks after we were engaged we found the perfect house! We bought it and 3 months later. Nathan and I were married in the Manti temple and here we are! (That was a really long story short!) I am so lucky and I couldn't ask for anything more, Nathan is everything I could ask for and we are so lucky to both have such great parents and siblings. It's hard right now with Nathan working out of town but it's just something we have to get through.
